About this ProgramA Passing Phrase, written by Eli Birnbaum, is all about enhancing your current knowledge of spoken Hebrew in a fun and informal way. It is a dissemination list over which once a week, a new useful Hebrew phrase or word will be explained in its spoken context. Using the least common denominator of simple-text email, the phrases/words will be transliterated (spelled phonetically in English). You will be able to view the archives as well as see and hear each phrase is pronounced on our web site.
